*TNT has renewed its hit drama “Claws” for a third season.
According to Deadline, the season two premiere of drew 1.3 million 18-49 in L+7, up 38% from last year’s series debut. Season two is now tracking +9% ahead of season one, ranks among the top 5 cable dramas this year, and is currently posting the largest year-over-year growth among all returning cable dramas, according to TNT.

In related news, celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble, who starred on WeTV’s “L.A. Hair,” is making a return to the small screen.
Kimble, whose clients include Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, and Nicki Minaj, has been quietly prepping a new hair competition series centered on new up and coming hairstylists.
Titled “Making the Cut,” the series will reportedly premiere on BET, according to thejasminebrand.com. Kimble is currently on a nationwide search for fresh and creative licensed hairstylists who hope to be the next “celebrity hairstylist.”
Kimble revealed: “I’m developing a new show for BET and I’m looking for the best-licensed hairstylist from all over the country. If you think you have it what it takes, I want to hear from you!”
She continues,” I’ve worked with the best and now I only want the very best for my show.”
According to reports, behind the scenes developments for the series have been well underway, and Dr. Holly Carter will executive produce.
