*Tinashe has announced dates for her special contest for her Match My Freak World Tour.
The singer teamed up with SoundCloud in a first-of-its-kind partnership to identify an opening DJ for each upcoming tour stop. According to the news release, potential DJ contestants will complete a submission form and make sure their SoundCloud profile is up to date, showcasing their talent. From there, Tinashe will choose a DJ for each location to open the tour. Read more info about the contest here!
“I’m excited to partner up with Soundcloud to find incredible DJ’s to open for me on my Match My Freak tour. If you make dope music, then you should submit for a chance to join me on the road,” Tinashe said of the contest.
“I’m selecting a different DJ each night so make sure to tap in and submit your music. I can’t wait to check out all the submissions and more importantly I can’t wait to see you all on the road soon!” she added.
SoundCloud’s Global Head of Music, Emmy Lovell added: “Tinashe’s always embraced SoundCloud to connect with fans and experiment with new sounds, and this first-of-its-kind contest is a natural extension of that energy. We’re excited to build on Tinashe’s legacy by shining a spotlight on the next generation of artists on SoundCloud.”

Tinashe’s tour kicks off with the 23-date North American leg on October 14 in Anaheim. She will hit major cities including Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Nashville. Raveena will join the tour as support. Tickets are available now on tinashenow.com.
