*T.I. has released the new single “Let Em Know” and announced that his next album, “Kill The King,” will be his final project before retiring from music.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Grammy Awards, he said, “It’s a blessing man. ‘Let Em Know,’ produced by Pharrell. My first single off of my final album. I’m gonna be done. They should know it. I’ve said it before. It’s time.”
T.I. explained that retirement will allow him to spend more time with family. “I think I have many gifts that God has given me that I can spend more time and attention on, and spend more time at home with my family and my grandchildren,” he said.

Back in 2024, T.I. discussed his lasting legacy on the industry during a conversation with rapper Fat Joe. “I mean, to be honest with you, bro, I’m a product of the community. I stand on the shoulders of giants. You feel me?,” T.I. said.
“I like to say that Kilo Ali and Sammy Sam crawled so OutKast and Goodie Mob could walk, so me, Jeezy, Ludacris could run, so Young Thug, 21 Savage, Migos, and Lil Baby could fly. You feel me? So everybody’s been passing the torch on to the next generation,” he added.
The actor and hip-hop star also spoke about his venture into stand-up comedy.
“I feel like comedy is something that I was able to meet at a point in my life where I was humble enough, conscious enough, and confident enough to share a part of myself,” T.I. explained.
