Operated from June through September 2025, the seasonal route exceeded expectations, with plans already underway to extend the service from May through September in 2026.

United Airlines has announced a new direct flight connecting EWR with Santiago de Compostela (SCQ)—a first-of-its-kind route providing year-round access to Galicia, the westernmost jewel of Green Spain and the spiritual heart of the legendary Camino de Santiago. For U.S. travelers, it means an easier journey to a part of Spain where Atlantic breezes, ancient pilgrimage routes, and Michelin-starred seafood coexist in one of Europe’s most evocative regions.
A Celebration of the North: “NORTE DIEM” in New York City
