Slauson 6 Memorial Event in Windsor Hills on Monday
*LA-based civil rights activist Najee Ali will lead a powerful tribute for the Slauson 6 on Monday, August 4. The event will include the unveiling of a memorial banner at the Slauson 6 Memorial Bench and Community Garden. This space, donated by Rocket Stores, serves as a sanctuary for reflection and healing.
The memorial banner will display the names of all six victims lost in the devastating Windsor Hills crash. Families, friends, and community leaders are expected to gather and honor their memory while demanding justice for the tragedy. Ali emphasized that this memorial is a crucial reminder of both grief and accountability.
The Slauson 6 included Nathesia Lewis, Lynette Noble, Asheray Ryan, her infant son Alonzo Quintero, her fiancé Reynold Lester, and their unborn child Armani Lester. Their lives were tragically cut short in a horrific collision that left the Windsor Hills community forever changed.

The Windsor Hills Tragedy and Justice for the Slauson 6
On August 4, 2022, Nicole Linton, a nurse traveling over 100 mph, ran a red light, causing the deadly crash. This reckless act resulted in the largest mass loss of life in Windsor Hills’ history. Despite the devastation, Linton has pleaded not guilty to six counts of vehicular manslaughter. Her trial is scheduled for October.
Ali and community advocates have made it clear: this was not an accident. It was a senseless act of negligence that cost six innocent lives and shattered countless families. Their call for justice continues to resonate throughout Los Angeles.

The community demands that Nicole Linton be held accountable. “We will not forget,” said Najee Ali. “We will not stay silent.” The rallying cry is clear as Windsor Hills mourns and mobilizes for justice.
