WNBA’s Skylar Diggins to Host Online Talk Show from Jay Z’s 40/40 Club

*Jay Z’s Manhattan 40/40 Club will double as the set of a new online talk show to be hosted by the WNBA’s Skylar Diggins, who just so happens to be managed by the rap mogul’s Roc Nation Sports.

Diggins, a player for the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock, will front “40/40 Live,” described as a talk show focusing on “the worlds of hip-hop and sports celebrity.” It’s part of Time Inc.’s new plan to produce original video content ranging from sports to relatiy to pop culture.

Co-produced by Jay Z’s media group Life+Times, the show will “provide a fresh and unfiltered conversation around sports, fame, music.”

Time’s new digital video initiative will create content for the group’s sites, as well as for syndication by Amazon and CBS.
