*Skai Jackson revealed over the weekend that she has given birth to her first child, but the father, Deondre Burgin, wasn’t present as he has been incarcerated since November.
Burgin is currently serving a 90-day sentence for violating his parole related to a previous juvenile case involving theft and weapon possession. According to TMZ, he is expected to be released in February.
Skai was arrested in August for domestic battery after allegedly pushing Deondre, but the case was dismissed when he didn’t cooperate with authorities. We reported earlier that the incident allegedly occurred at Universal CityWalk, a popular entertainment complex, where security personnel observed an altercation between Jackson and her boyfriend.
Details emerged that Jackson was seen pushing Burgin on more than one occasion. Despite both Jackson and her boyfriend’s claims that nothing physical transpired and their relationship was well, security detained the couple until law enforcement arrived.
The deputies reported that after reviewing video footage, they witnessed Jackson pushing Burgin, leading to her arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. She was cited and released a few hours later.

Meanwhile, sources close to Jackson say she is thrilled about motherhood.
The Disney Channel alum, 22, confirmed the news of the birth of her healthy baby boy Sunday in an Instagram post, which appeared to show the actress holding the newborn. Jackson’s caption did not specify whether the baby is a boy or girl, but it suggested she named her bundle of joy Kasai.
