*A recent FaceTime call between Shedeur Sanders and his father, Deion Sanders, became a viral hit after Shedeur jokingly blamed Karrueche Tran for things going “downhill.”
As SamdraRose.com reports, Tran, 37, had been supporting Deion, 58, as he underwent his 16th surgery to remove blood clots behind his knee. While Deion was in the hospital, Shedeur called him, which led to a playful exchange.
“Me and Karrueche [are] chilling though, so we’ll call you back,” Deion said in a video shared on his son Shilo ‘Bucky’ Sanders’ YouTube channel. Shedeur replied, “Now, we have a little talk about her anyway.” When Deion asked, “Who’s we?” Shedeur responded, “Me and Bucky, ’cause ever since she started coming around, things been started going downhill.” Karrueche, who was in the room and laughed along, replied, “That is not true!”

The exchange showcased the Sanders’ knack for playful banter, with one X user noting, “I love Coach Prime and Karrueche. Cute little stepmom.” While the conversation was clearly a joke, some X users spun wild theories. One wrote, “Y’all he basically calling her a witch and basically saying that his health is declining and she’s after his money. Read between the lines.”
Another quipped, “Shedeur is correct! LOL! Every since she came around with that bad ju ju, Shilo got kicked out of the NFL, and Shedeur fell to the 5th round and is in QB purgatory. Beyond the humor, Karrueche has been a pillar of support for Deion during a serious health scare. After a bladder cancer diagnosis led to emergency surgery this summer, Tran remained by his side. “She never left his side,” a source told Media Take Out. “She was with him at the hospital, at home, through recovery—making sure he was eating, staying positive, and focused on healing. She’s been his rock.”
