*Apple TV+ has revealed the trailer for the second season of its Emmy Award-winning stop-motion animated series, “Shape Island,” set to stream all eight episodes on August 29. Watch the new trailer above.
Based on the bestselling “Shapes” picture book trilogy by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, the show follows Square, Circle, and Triangle as they embark on adventures that highlight the value of friendship and embracing differences.
The series, set on a whimsical island, stars Yvette Nicole Brown as the narrator, Harvey Guillén as Square, Scott Adsit as Triangle, and Gideon Adlon as Circle. Their voices bring to life the quirky trio’s journey through playful challenges and heartfelt moments, teaching young viewers that friendship comes in many forms.
“Shape Island” is co-created by authors Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, who also serve as executive producers alongside Kelli Bixler and Drew Hodges of Bix Pix Entertainment. Ryan Pequin acts as co-executive producer and head writer, ensuring the show retains the charm of its source material.

The trailer showcases the series’ signature stop-motion style, blending humor and heart. It joins Apple TV+’s growing lineup of family-friendly content, including recent additions like “BE@RBRICK,” “Goldie,” “Camp Snoopy,” “Frog and Toad,” “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!,” “Me,” and “Wonder Pets: In the City.”
