*A first look at 20th Century Studios’ upcoming film “Send Help” has arrived with the release of a new trailer and poster, offering a glimpse into director Sam Raimi’s latest psychological thriller. Known for genre-defying projects like “Spider-Man” and “The Evil Dead,” Raimi returns to the big screen with a story that blends tension, dark humor, and human desperation.
The all-original film features an ensemble cast led by Rachel McAdams, Dylan O’Brien, Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh, and Emma Raimi. “Send Help” will debut exclusively in theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026. Check out the trailer above.

The trailer introduces viewers to Linda Liddle (McAdams) and Bradley Preston (O’Brien), two work colleagues who become the sole survivors of a plane crash. Stranded on a remote island, the pair must cooperate to endure harsh conditions while confronting old resentments. Their uneasy alliance soon spirals into a battle of wit and survival, with darkly comic undertones that highlight the razor-thin line between fear and control.
“I’ve always loved stories where interesting, dynamic characters are pushed to extremes,” says director Sam Raimi. “In our story, the power shifts create an escalating situation that’s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense.”
“Send Help” is produced by Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi, with executive production by JJ Hook. The screenplay is penned by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, and the score is composed by Oscar-nominated musician Danny Elfman. Together, the creative team brings a sharp, unpredictable energy to a story of survival and psychological tension that promises to keep audiences on edge.
