*MTV has unveiled the first look at the 18th season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” along with an exciting roster of guest judges joining Emmy® Award-winning host RuPaul.
According to the news release, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and Ts Madison return as mainstay judges for the new season, which premieres Friday, January 2nd. Each episode will run 90 minutes and air Fridays at 8:00 PM ET/PT on MTV.
The trailer showcases Cardi B as the premiere guest judge, setting the tone for an unforgettable season. Additional guest judges include Teyana Taylor, Zara Larsson, Benny Blanco, Dove Cameron, Brooke Shields, Iman, Atsuko Okatsuka, Law Roach, Jamal Sims, Amy Taylor, Annaleigh Ashford, Danielle Pinnock, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Sherman, and Leland, promising a mix of music, fashion, and comedy expertise.

Season 18 will feature 14 queens competing for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar.” The cast includes Athena Dion (Miami, FL), Briar Blush (Boston, MA), Ciara Myst (Indianapolis, IN), Darlene Mitchell (Los Angeles, CA), DD Fuego (New York, NY), Discord Addams (St. Petersburg, FL), Jane Don’t (Seattle, WA), Juicy Love Dion (Miami, FL), Kenya Pleaser (Sumter, SC), Mandy Mango (Philadelphia, PA), Mia Starr (West Palm Beach, FL), Myki Meeks (Orlando, FL), Nini Coco (Denver, CO), and Vita VonTesse Starr (Montgomery, AL). Contestants will also benefit from an official Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics collaboration and a $200,000 cash prize via the RuPaul’s Drag Race Match Queen game.
Following each episode, “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” will air at 9:30 PM ET/PT on MTV, giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the queens as they navigate backstage drama.
The series is produced by World of Wonder Productions, with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Steven Corfe, Mandy Salangsang, Michele Mills, and RuPaul Charles as Executive Producers. Daniel Blau Rogge serves as Executive Producer for MTV, and Julie Ha is Supervising Producer.
