*Riley Curry, once the toddler who stole the spotlight at her dad Steph Curry’s post-game press conferences, is now a grown-up 12-year-old, and nearly as tall as her mom, Ayesha Curry.
As SandraRose.com reports, Riley made a rare public appearance at the Warriors vs. Grizzlies play-in game on Tuesday, April 15, and fans couldn’t believe how much she’s grown. Standing beside her 5’8” mom, Riley looked nearly the same height as the two cheered on Steph and the Warriors. A video of the mother-daughter duo celebrating the team’s 121–116 win quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), with fans reacting in disbelief at Riley’s transformation. One X user dubbed them: “THE QUEEN AND THE PRINCESS OF THE BAY AREA THE ROYAL FAMILY.”
“There’s no way this is the same Riley who was sitting with him at the press conference right?! Is time flying that fast?!” one user posted. Another joked, “Wasn’t she 5 last week?” A third fan chimed in with: “Riley makes me feel so old! Feels like she was in Steph’s lap a few seasons ago.”
The Currys are also parents to Ryan, 9, Cannon, 6, and Cai, born in May.
