The Incident
Around 1:20 p.m. PT on March 8, Ortiz allegedly approached the gated property in a vehicle and fired multiple rounds—possibly from an AR-15-style rifle—striking the front gate and exterior wall. Law enforcement sources confirmed that approximately 5–7 shots were fired, with at least one round penetrating the structure, though no bullets entered the main living quarters.
Miraculously, no injuries were reported. However, the LAPD has confirmed that Rihanna was home at the time alongside her three children with partner A$AP Rocky: sons RZA (3) and Riot (2), and five-month-old daughter Riot. A$AP Rocky was not present during the incident. A source close to the family stated they are “all doing okay” but have since increased security measures.
