*Redman recently opened up about his relationship with Method Man in a candid interview on the Julian Dorey Podcast.
When asked if he still spends time with his long-time collaborator, Redman responded bluntly, “Hell no! We do shows and we come back home. I don’t hang out with a lot of rappers at all. This is work, this is home. We’re very inclusive with our movement. Once we’re off the road, we’re like, ‘Alright. You got family to deal with, I got sh*t I gotta do,’” he explained.
“My circle is very small. So we all have different lives,” Redman added.
Although Redman doesn’t often spend time physically with fellow artists, he does stay in touch from time to time.

“The only artists I hang out with is my boy DoItAll from Lords of The Underground and Treach if I see him in the hood and that’s about it. And Kid Capri,” Redman noted that the legendary DJ is one of his closest companions.
“Kid Capri is my big bro. I talk to him and go see him all the time. But he’s not a rapper though. He’s a DJ. One of the best.”
Last year, Redman revealed to Red Bull that he’d love to continue the Blackout! series with Method Man, stating, “I want to do a Blackout! 3,” he said. “Maybe like 12 songs.”
The original Blackout! dropped in 1999, earned platinum status, and reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. The follow-up, released in 2009, also made it into the top 10.
Method Man previosuly stated that he is “not even focused” on making another album, as his priorities have shifted to television and film projects.
“We are not even focused on no Blackouts! or any of that sh*t right now,” Method Man said, per Vibe. “Brother, we are focused on this TV and movie stuff and producing, as well. We’ve got to get these stories out there.”
