*Anyone looking to Raven-Symoné for gossip on her former “That’s So Raven” co-star Orlando Brown can look the other way.
For the ex-daytime TV fixture, “careful” is the word when it comes to her onscreen brother.
Referencing a recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show,” Vibe reports Brown did come up, but Raven-Symoné was transparent in explaining her stance on him and their relationship over the years.
“I have to be careful about what I say about Orlando because — I’m going to keep it 100, this is a safe space — Orlando is very smart,” she said. “His tongue quips are faster than mine, and I know that. He could come off the dome like (snaps fingers) that,” Symoné said, while emphasizing how deep her relationship goes with Brown.
Unlike many people, Raven-Symoné has seen various stages of Brown’s life. A point she was not shy in reminding people about when speaking on him.

“He’s been doing that since I’ve known him, and I’ve known for a very long time,” the former “Cosby Show” alum mentioned. ”My quips come three weeks later. I know his family. I know him. I know him before drugs, after drugs. During God, not during God, and he was a comedic genius and he’s still making people laugh.”
Raven-Symoné’s stance on Brown comes amid controversy raised over his comments about her in recent years. Comments touching on allegations of a sexual relationship between them as well as the entertainer’s childhood.
To all that, Raven-Symoné let it be known how “secure” she is in her approach to addressing the situation, explaining that she often doesn’t feel the need to speak out or reply to claims made about her because she’s secure with where she’s at in life.
“I’m secure enough in my bank account and my life where I don’t have to dig that deep down to take it. And I also don’t have to defend myself about anything because that was his experience,” she added.
As the interview continued, Raven-Symoné brought up another side to Brown that some forget, his acting catalogue.
