*Prince Michael Jackson’s charity, Heal Los Angeles, has partnered with the food delivery service Fresh N’ Lean to provide meals to those in need amid the coronavirus outbreak. Now he’s speaking out about how his famous father would be proud of his efforts.
“I would like to think that he would be very proud because I think this was one of his main goals, was not only to spread his message of positivity and happiness but to see it enacted in his kids,” Prince said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “As a father, I think that’s what you want to do when you raise kids. You’re preparing them for the world and the type of person they’re going to be.”
Prince continued: “In this time with the quarantine and everything surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s a shortage of food. And when there’s a shortage of food, there’s a shortage of food being donated to local food banks, and when that’s happening there’s a lot of people who don’t have access to food in general,” he explained.

The “King of Pop,” who died in 2009 at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest, would also be proud of his son eyeing a career in the entertainment industry.
“I was very fortunate to have him as a father,” Prince said. “I had a lot of unique experiences growing up, and what I’m trying to do with my platform and the non-profit or the charity organization is to share those experiences.”
Although, Prince graduated Loyola Marymount University in May 2019 with a degree in business administration, a source close to the family said he wants to be a director or producer.

Prince announced the Heal Los Angeles partnership with Fresh N’ Lean on Instagram earlier this month, writing in a post on Instagram:
In his interview with ET, he also said he’s “very grateful” to be part of a “collaborate ecosystem.”
“We all need to help each other – and that came from the way that he raised us,” he continued.
“I was very fortunate to have him as a father,” Prince said. “I had a lot of unique experiences growing up, and what I’m trying to do with my platform and the non-profit or the charity organization is to share those experiences.”
