*A groundbreaking new educational initiative is opening doors for the second time for students across the U.S. The Pollee & Rose Allen School of Logistics and Trade, a free online school powered by DHL Global Forwarding, is now accepting enrollment for its upcoming Fall 2025 semester, beginning Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET (via Zoom). This will be the second semester of the school, which was initially launched in February 2025.
Students who did not attend the first semester are welcome to join Semester 2, which will be a more in-depth introduction to the trade and logistics industries and will also include a recap of the inaugural content from Semester 1.
The school is designed to prepare students for lucrative careers in logistics and trade, a global industry that fuels the global supply chain, strengthens economies, and—critically—cannot be completely replaced by artificial intelligence.
Logistics and trade are fields rich with opportunity. Many careers offer high five and six-figure salaries and do not require a traditional college degree. Instead, they demand specialized skills—skills that are introduced and developed in the free courses of the Pollee & Rose Allen School.

“This industry is the backbone of the global economy,” said Lori Ann LaRocco. “By providing free training and mentorship, we’re helping students gain skills that translate directly into job opportunities.”
The school was primarily conceived for next-generation professionals in the industry, with a target age range of 16 to 24; however, adults who want to make a career change can also apply and will be accepted with an explanation of their background and desire to learn these new skills.
One adult student took the class in Semester One although she was already established in her logistics career, but she felt that learning new skills from DHL Global Forwarding instructors and hearing from executives from other logistics companies—who were guest speakers once a month for Mentor Hour—would be invaluable to her career.
“I wanted to advance my current position and learn new skills that might help me gain a future promotion. And since it was free, I had everything to gain by taking this class, and I am so happy I did,” shared Sonobia Robinson, who was seeking a career pivot and found it in the class.
The curriculum is backed by DHL Global Forwarding, a division of DHL, one of the world’s leading international shipping companies. At the completion of each semester, DHL Global Forwarding will award graduates with a Certificate of Course Completion, further boosting their professional credentials.
Fall Semester dates are from September 4–December 16, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET each week on Zoom, with weekly 90-minute classes, three Thursdays of each month: 6–7:30 p.m. ET / 5–6:30 p.m. CT / 4–5:30 p.m. MT / 3–4:30 p.m. PT.
Organizers encourage schools, community leaders, churches, and even local mayors to help spread the word. The program is positioned as both a workforce development initiative and a community empowerment tool, giving individuals the chance to pursue stable, well-paying careers without the burden of tuition costs.
A simple email stating that you want to join the class is all that is required for consideration to be enrolled. Enrollment is open, but spaces are limited, so students are being accepted on a rolling basis until the last space is filled.
