*Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming animated preschool series “Not a Box,” set to premiere globally on June 13.
Drawing from Antoinette Portis’ acclaimed children’s book, the eight-episode show centers on Riley, a curious bunny voiced by Isabel Birch, who transforms a simple cardboard box into vibrant worlds filled with new friends and adventures. Ian James Corlett voices the adult character, guiding young viewers through a celebration of limitless imagination.
Produced by Dete Meserve’s Silver Creek Falls Entertainment, with Meserve as executive producer, the series is written and co-executive produced by Emmy Award winner Michael Rabb. Passion Pictures handles animation, led by director Siri Melchior and executive producers Debbie Crosscup and Andrew Ruhemann.
Additional executive producers include Harry Lowell and Linda Carlson of Nitelite Pictures and Rock Paper Scissors. Kate Robinson, daughter of Sir Ken Robinson and director of the Sir Ken Robinson Foundation, serves as the imagination and creativity expert, aligning with Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative.

“Not a Box” joins Apple TV+’s growing slate of kids and family programming, including recent hits like “Camp Snoopy,” “Frog and Toad” Season 2, “WondLa,” and “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!” The platform also offers award-winning titles such as “The Velveteen Rabbit,” “Wolfwalkers,” and “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse,” alongside live-action series like “Ted Lasso” and “CODA.”
