*Los Angeles, CA – On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the Steven Williams Foundation hosted a soul-stirring, sold-out event: Night of Impact at Robby’s West Hollywood.
This unforgettable evening honored legendary changemakers and raised essential funds for the Foundation’s House of Refuge—a 40-bed transitional housing project serving the unhoused and formerly incarcerated.
Celebrity allies and grassroots activists united under one roof, turning inspiration into tangible change for marginalized communities
The program paid tribute to exceptional leaders whose lives exemplify courage, compassion, and service:
Congresswoman Maxine Waters – Trailblazer Award
Regina King & Reina King – Vision Keeper Awards
Robert Holmes, former President of Sony Music Publishing – Founders Circle Award
Bishop Noel Jones – Vision Keeper Award
Rocky Carroll, Emmy-nominated actor of NCIS – Loyalty & Legacy Award (and Celebrity Host)

Congresswoman Maxine Waters delivered a moving speech, stating:
“You had all the right words—assisting those who have been incarcerated, those who suffer from addiction, and many who have been left off of America’s agenda… I came today to thank you, Steven Williams, and congratulate you for your leadership… We can’t be worried about those who don’t care—we have to step over them, walk over them, and do what we know is right.”
The night was made even more unforgettable by the presence of celebrity guests Jackée Harry, Stan Lathan, and Marquerite Lathan, whose attendance reflected the community’s deep respect and commitment to social change.
Special recognition goes to Rocky Carroll, whose generosity and heartfelt dedication made the evening truly spectacular.
Beyond hosting, Carroll personally contributed to the Foundation’s mission, ensuring the success of the event and amplifying its impact.

Performances by Sy Baldwin, Camille Wyatt, John Williams, and Beth Payne alongside a moving fine art exhibition curated by acclaimed photographer and founder Steven Williams, anchored the evening with beauty and purpose.
“But no photo… no award… no red carpet moment… has ever meant more to me than this: the opportunity to serve those who feel unseen, unheard, and unloved.” – Steven Williams
Proceeds from the Night of Impact will directly support housing, counseling, job readiness, court advocacy, and weekly outreach to Skid Row, helping men and women transform their lives and realize their dreams.
The event served as a powerful reminder that art and service can coexist to uplift the most marginalized. Through every note, image, and gesture, Night of Impact reinforced the belief that true legacy lies in compassion-driven change.
