*NeNe Leakes is making her way back to Bravo following a years-long absence, TMZ has learned.
The reality star shared the news directly with fans in an Instagram video. “I am happy and overjoyed to say that i will be returning to Bravo,” she said.
Leakes originally departed from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2020 amid contract disputes and legal disagreements with Bravo, which she later withdrew. By August 2023, she expressed no lingering hostility toward executive producer Andy Cohen and hinted at the possibility of rejoining the network. A Hollywood source suggested her network ban has been lifted, paving the way for this comeback.

Insiders revealed to TMZ that Leakes will appear in Bravo’s upcoming series “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.” While cast members were not announced when Cohen revealed the show at BravoCon, Leakes will not hold a full-time role. She is set to have a prominent presence during the Atlanta portion of the journey, though her appearances will be restricted to that segment. The series will feature cameos from various “Housewives” across different franchises.
Leakes’ involvement stands out, especially considering her earlier legal dispute with the network. In April 2022, she initiated a federal lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and related production entities, alleging that they created a racist and hostile workplace environment. The case was voluntarily dismissed in August 2022, with the parties opting to resolve the matter through private arbitration instead of proceeding in court.
Her return marks a significant chapter in her career, signaling reconciliation with Bravo while reintroducing one of the franchise’s most iconic stars to viewers in a new, adventurous format.
