*Two alleged carjackers were killed by a Missouri woman after she tracked them down following the thrift of her vehicle.
The fatal shooting reportedly occurred outside a St. Louis Speedie Gas station Wednesday night, Fox News reports. Police claim Demesha Coleman, 35, approached a Hyundai Tucson and started shooting at Darius Jackson, 19, and Joseph Farrar, 49. A third man was shot in the head during the shootout but reportedly survived.
Surveillance video allegedly shows one of the victims pull out his own firearm first and Coleman responds by drawing her gun and opening fire. She was arrested and was charged Thursday with two counts of murder, one count of assault, and three counts of armed criminal action. It remains unclear which of the three males, if any, stole her vehicle.
Coleman told detectives she went to the gas station to recover her car.

Thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles spiked this year amid TikTok’s “Kia challenge,” which encourages users to hotwire these cars with a USB cord and a screwdriver.
In October, four teenagers killed in a Buffalo car crash were attempting this challenge. The passengers were riding in a stolen Kia when the speeding car crashed, ejecting all five passengers, the New York Post reports. According to police, four of the five passengers were killed. They ranged in age from 14 to 17.
The driver was reportedly treated at a hospital and released. A surviving passenger was hospitalized in intensive care.
Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia told reporters that the teenagers may have stolen the car as part of the “Kia challenge.”
“They’re very easy unfortunately to steal,” Gramaglia reportedly said of the vehicles being targeted in the challenge.
“You can look up the information that’s been put out there,” Gramaglia continued. “There are numerous cities across the country that are looking at looking into or have filed lawsuits against Kia because of the ease that they are able to steal these cars.”
