*Actress Marsai Martin, known for her role in “Black-ish,” is reportedly in a relationship with rising NASCAR driver Rajah Caruth, according to recent revelations on The Breakfast Club.
As MadameNoire reports, during the interview, Martin’s co-star Anthony Anderson playfully spilled details about Caruth. “I met him, he drives one of them right there,” Anderson said, gesturing to a toy NASCAR vehicle in the studio, prompting Martin to exclaim, “Why’d you give a clue?!”
Martin didn’t name Caruth directly, but she described her partner as a “special person” who embodies qualities she cherishes, such as being “emotional,” “vulnerable,” and “understanding.”
She emphasized, “He’s the best. He’s my patience, he’s my stability.” Martin highlighted vulnerability as a key trait, stating, “A lot of men kind of lack vulnerability and being able to have that emotion to have this kind of stance of what a man should look like.”
The couple, both 20 and 22 respectively, has kept their relationship private, but speculation grew after photos emerged in May 2024 of Caruth kissing Martin’s head at the Wright Brand 250 race in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Reports suggest they’ve been together for at least a year, though details of their initial meeting remain undisclosed.
Caruth has made waves in NASCAR, achieving a historic win in March 2024 at the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 in Las Vegas, becoming the third African American driver to win in NASCAR’s National Touring Series, joining legends Wendell Scott and Bubba Wallace. His 2024 season included one victory, two pole awards, and five top-five finishes.
On May 30, Martin was by his side when Caruth celebrated another triumph at the Rackley Roofing 200 in Nashville, leading the final 51 laps to secure his second career Truck Series win, fending off competitors Corey Heim and Layne Riggs, USA Today reports. Watch the clip below.
