*Marques Houston proves his staying power with a chain of new singles and videos, including his latest titled “Cowgirl.” Houston is a seasoned and multi-faceted entertainer who emerged as a member of the 1990s boy band Immature, later known as IMx.
Marques and his various bandmates released ten albums over the next decade, all under the management of music industry mogul Chris Stokes.
Houston remained forever relevant flexing his talent as an actor in “Sister Sister,” “One on One” and of course, the breakout dance hit movie “You Got Served” in 2004, written, produced, and directed by Chris Stokes.
The latter was a foreshadowing of mega success for Houston and Stokes, who have churned out seventeen number-one movies on the Tubi streaming network under the Footage Films banner.

Houston is the CEO, writer, and producer of Footage Films. Stokes is Chairman and Juanita Stokes is president. It is a family affair.
The Tubi hit movies include “Robbin,” “Still Here,” “The Stepmother,” “Rock the Boat,” “Snatched,” “Best Friend,” “No Way Out,” “The Assistant,” “Vicious Affair,” “Fall Girls,” and many more.
Marques does double duty writing, producing, and in some cases starring in these movies.
Chris Stokes is also the writer/director of these movies and Tubi fans can’t get enough of the drama, the intrigue, and the riveting plots that usually center around the redemption of a woman scorned.
Marques’ imprint as a Hollywood movie producer is set, and making music has not taken a second seat to making movies. Houston does both consistently well. His solo career started in 2003 and has never stopped. He has released favorites such as “Clubbin’,” “Naked,” “Let It Go” and most recently “Admit It,” “Last Drop” and “Cowgirl.”
He’s a music man, a movie man, and a family man. Marques and Miya Houston are the proud parents of toddler Zara and infant Grayson. “The Best, Worst Year Ever” is also forthcoming on Tubi. It’s a two-part documentary where Marques will finally share the inside tract of his career.
In the meantime, he’s living his best life and constantly adding new music to score the soundtrack of his amazing life.
