*Ludacris shared an update amid fans’ concerns about his health after sharing a video of himself drinking glacier water in Alaska.
In the Instagram clip, Luda stands on the edge of a glacier, surrounded by pristine blue water.
“Half the world’s glaciers are here in Alaska,” he said in the video. “I couldn’t come here and just have a show. You know, I got a bucket list—or as I like to call it, the f**k it list. I’ve never tasted fresh [glacier] water ever in my life and this is a first.”
The video sparked online debates about the potential presence of parasites and bacteria in glacier water.
In the post’s comments, one person wrote, “Be careful with glacier water! Even though it looks fresh and clean, it’s often full of bacteria, parasites, and viruses… Microorganisms you definitely don’t want in your system.. It can make you extremely sick. Make sure to boil it first to stay safe!”

Ice Cube’s son, actor O’Shea Jackson, also expressed concern for Ludacris on X, writing, “How long ago did he shoot this and have we been monitoring him?”
Ludacris shared a follow-up video describing how the water made him feel rejuvenated but did not directly address fans’ concerns about his health after drinking it.
“Yo, for everybody asking me how that glacier water really tasted—when I tell y’all I’m a water snob,” the hip-hop star said.
“It was the best tasting water I’ve ever had in my life, and as I drank it, I felt like every cell in my human body was being hydrated and rejuvenated at the same damn time,” Ludacris added.
