*New details are emerging about the breakup between Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion, and the accounts differ depending on who is telling the story.
According to Daily Mail, a source close to Thompson says the NBA star ended the relationship over personality differences. The insider claimed Thompson believed Megan was “too ghetto” for him. The source also said he grew frustrated with constant conflict.
“He was over her and didn’t want to be with her,” the insider said. “I think he wanted to break up with her for a while but just didn’t know what to do.”
The pair reportedly purchased a home together in October, but the source says Megan rarely stayed there. “He kind of felt abandoned by her,” the source inside said. “He went to all of these places to support her, and then when he was off over summer, she was nowhere to be found. However, a second insider offers a completely different version of events. This person insists Thompson never attempted to end the relationship. Instead, they claim Megan walked away after discovering that Thompson had been cheating on her.

Her exact message, paraphrased from multiple reports and screenshots circulating online, read: “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one.. bye yall”.
She has reportedly deleted their couple photos from her Instagram, further signaling a definitive and messy split.
