*For fans of romantic comedies with heart and humor, Amazon MGM Studios is preparing something special. The studio has teamed with Kelly Rowland and Method Man for the new film “Relationship Goals.” Inspired by Pastor Michael Todd’s New York Times bestseller, the movie follows two ambitious professionals whose careers and emotions collide, per The Movie Blog.
Rowland portrays Leah Caldwell, a driven television producer poised to break barriers by becoming the first woman to lead New York’s highest-rated morning show. Just as her dream seems within reach, her former boyfriend, Jarrett Roy — played by Smith — reappears with the same goal in sight. Jarrett swears he’s a different man, saying that the book “Relationship Goals” completely changed how he views love and success.
The ensemble cast includes Robin Thede, Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, and Matt Walsh. Linda Mendoza helms the project with DeVon Franklin serving as producer and Rowland as an executive producer.
