*Kanye West’s X (formerly Twitter) account has been deactivated following backlash over his latest antisemitic posts.
“IM A NAZI,” he wrote in all-caps over the weekend. “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT BITCHES.”
In another post, he added: “SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE JEWISH AND I DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM.”
Deadline reports that as of Monday morning, the rapper’s page displayed the message: “This account doesn’t exist.” It is unclear whether Ye deleted the account or if X removed it after the page was flagged as having “potentially sensitive content”.
Elon Musk reinstated West’s account in 2023, months after the hip-hop star was deactivated for praising Hitler. His latest antisemitic remarks drew widespread criticism from actor David Schwimmer and British talk show host Piers Morgan.

According to Deadline, Schwimmer said: “We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. Musk. Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X. That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence. His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.”
The “Friends” star added, “I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he identifies as a Nazi (which implies he wants to exterminate ALL marginalized communities including his own) or the fact that there is not sufficient OUTRAGE to remove and ban him from all social media at this point. Silence is complicity.”
Morgan said: “So disappointed that Kanye West has deleted his X account… said nobody. From genius rap superstar to demented, vile, racist, anti-Semitic, misogynist, violence-inducing troll. What a sad, pathetic downfall.”
The American Jewish Committee also condemned Yeezy for “purposefully” using “his platform to spew anti-Jewish hatred.”
Amid the backlash, Musk, who purchased Twitter in 2022 for $44 billion, said: “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW [not safe for work]. You should not be seeing that anymore.”
West thanked Elon “for allowing me to vent.”
“It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” he said.
