*K. Michelle didn’t hold back when discussing her long-standing feud with Tamar Braxton during an appearance on Cam Newton’s podcast.
While the conversation initially focused on her shift to Country music and rise to fame, it veered into heated territory when Newton brought up female rivalries in the music industry. Without naming Braxton directly, the songstress unleashed a barrage of insults, referring to her as “the muppet” and a “loud-mouth coyote.”
She accused Braxton of ongoing subtle jabs and attempting to sabotage her show bookings. “I hate the b-tch…the muppet,” Michelle stated, claiming the tension stems from jealousy over Braxton’s sister’s stardom, personal insecurities, and a man who allegedly pursued K. Michelle before, during, and after his relationship with Braxton. “All because you ain’t got no edges? All because of your sister really the star? This is what this is about,” she told Newton.
K. Michelle suggested a physical resolution, declaring, “I’ma slap the f*ck out of her on sight.”
When Newton questioned her stance on women’s empowerment, K. Michelle doubled down, saying, “That is a muppet; not a woman.”

She clarified, “We don’t have to resort to violence or any of that, I get that. But if [she] consistently behind closed doors…still poking at somebody – three years consistent – and they don’t say a word, at some point I have to defend myself.”
