*Joy Reid has accepted a debate challenge from Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker.

When Walker appeared on Fox News recently with Republican Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham, he used the word “erection” instead of “election” and the moment did not go unnoticed by Reid.

The MSNBC host tweeted a video of the segment along with the caption, “The ancestors are weeping” Reid tweeted. “And why does he always need these handlers (who can’t even stop him from embarrassing himself.) Just humiliating…”

Walker caught wind of her post and responded, “I‘d love to debate Joy Reid,” he said on “The Charlie Kirk Show” before noting his victory in last month’s debate against Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock

“I say, any day of the week she wants to debate, she can show up here and I’ll debate her as well on any subject,” he said. “She can come up with the subject, and let’s go at it.”

On Wednesday, Reid invited Walker to visit her MSNBC program “ReidOut.”

“Okay, Herschel, come on,” she said. “No, seriously. We reached out to your team. We will have you on the ‘ReidOut’ any day. And we can debate. Just tell us when.”

Reid issued one caveat, Walker can not bring Cruz and Graham. Watch her response via the YouTube video below.
