*Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for its highly anticipated original series, “Hotel Costiera,” which will launch with all six episodes on September 24. The series will be available exclusively in the United States, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Norway, Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Shot on location in Italy, “Hotel Costiera” is a stylish action-drama directed by Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein alongside Giacomo Martelli. The series is based on an idea by Luca Bernabei and written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch. It is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle company.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Amalfi Coast, the show features an impressive ensemble cast that mixes Italian and international talent. Jesse Williams stars as the lead, joined by Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
The series follows Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half-Italian former U.S. Marine, who returns to Italy—the land of his childhood—to work as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels on Positano’s iconic coastline. While managing the challenges posed by the hotel’s wealthy guests, Daniel is also determined to find Alice, the hotel owner’s daughter who vanished a month earlier.
