*Jesse Williams has reportedly taken a major step in his personal life, quietly marrying actress Alejandra Onieva in a private ceremony that was kept intentionally low-profile.
The wedding was described as intimate, with only a small group in attendance, reflecting the couple’s preference for privacy despite growing public interest, The Sun reports.
Their relationship began in a professional setting while filming the Amazon series “Hotel Costiera,” which was shot in Italy along the Amalfi Coast. What started as a shared experience on set gradually developed into a personal connection over time. The couple eventually stepped out publicly together for the first time at the show’s premiere in Rome last September, confirming speculation about their relationship.
The series itself centers on Williams’ character, Daniel De Luca, a former Marine drawn into a tense rescue operation involving a kidnapped hotel heir. Onieva appears in the series as Sheryl, a character tied to a separate storyline involving a missing billionaire. While the production generated attention for its scenic backdrop and international cast, it did not move forward with additional seasons following its initial release.

Before this new chapter, Williams’ personal life had already been widely discussed in public. He was previously married to Aryn Drake-Lee, with whom he shares two children. The couple separated after Williams filed for divorce in 2017, leading to a lengthy and highly publicized custody dispute.
Over time, Williams has spoken out against public speculation surrounding the end of his marriage. He has pushed back on narratives that suggested infidelity, emphasizing the emotional complexity of his previous relationship, saying: “I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not five years, not seven years, 13 years and all of a sudden motherf***ers are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship — like the most painful experience I’ve had in my life, like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart — that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute.”
Jesse and Aryn’s divorce was finalized in 2020, with both parties agreeing to joint custody and dividing assets.
