*Jason Statham returns to the big screen in the action-packed thriller “SHELTER,” set for exclusive theatrical release on January 30, 2026.
Per the news release, the film follows a reclusive man (Statham) living on a remote coastal island who rescues a young girl (Bodhi Rae Breathnach) from a deadly storm, forcing them both into peril.
As he confronts his turbulent past, the two embark on a tense journey of survival and redemption.
The ensemble cast also includes Naomi Ackie of “Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and Academy Award nominee Bill Nighy from “Living,” bringing depth and talent to the story. Statham’s performance anchors the film, promising the signature intensity and physicality that fans expect.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, known for “Greenland” and “Angel Has Fallen,” “SHELTER” is produced by Black Bear, Punch Palace Pictures, CineMachine, and Stampede Ventures.
Statham serves as one of the producers alongside Black Bear’s John Friedberg, Brendon Boyea, Greg Silverman, and Jon Berg.
Executive producers include Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Andrew Golov, Mike Shanks, Ric Roman Waugh, and several others. The screenplay was written by Ward Parry.
