*Hulk Hogan stirred controversy during a beer promotion event at the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio on Monday when he said he wanted to perform one of his signature wrestling moves on Kamala Harris.
“Want me to body-slam Kamala Harris? Want me to drop the leg on Kamala?” he said in the video, obtained by TMZ Sports.
The Hulkster, who also mocked the vice president’s Indian heritage, attributed his remarks to being under the influence of alcohol.
Last month, he gave a speech praising Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.
Meanwhile, Hulk came under fire recently after his Real American Beer brand responded to accusations that he fired a TikToker as a brand ambassador after realizing she was Black.
We reported earlier that TikTok user Essence Jenai shared her experience with the WWE star in multiple posts on July 6th. As The Jasmine Brand reports, she revealed that she was hired through a booking agency as a brand ambassador for Hogan’s new beer. Her one-week contract included appearances at various promotional events. However, after her first in-person meeting with Hogan, she was fired.
Hogan’s beer brand released a statement following her accusations, Vibe reports.
A brand spokesperson said, “We are deeply troubled by the false rumor circulating on social media that a brand ambassador hired by a third-party marketing agency was terminated by Hulk Hogan for racial reasons.”
The statement continued, “Real American Beer simply terminated its short-term relationship with the third-party marketing agency. Hulk Hogan was not involved in that decision, and race was not a factor. We are in communication with the agency in an attempt to clear the misunderstanding and incorrect information, and believe that this false statement will be withdrawn.”
