*A groundbreaking musical event, “Grace for the World,” will bring together a diverse array of global artists at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
Two-time Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson and Thai rapper BamBam of Kpop group Got7 join a lineup led by Pharrell Williams with the Voices of Fire Gospel Choir and Andrea Bocelli. Per THR, additional performers include John Legend, Karol G, Clipse, Teddy Swims, Jelly Roll, The Choir of the Diocese of Rome under Marco Frisina, and Angélique Kidjo, with an international choir directed by Grammy-winner Adam Blackstone.
The event, set for September 13, will stream live on Disney+, Hulu, and ABC News Live at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT, with a replay available post-event. This marks the first musical event of its kind hosted at the Vatican, celebrating the Catholic Jubilee Holy Year, marking the 2,025th anniversary of Jesus Christ’s incarnation.

The production boasts an impressive team, with executive producers including Pharrell, Andrea Bocelli, Nova Sky Stories, Something in the Water, Solina Chau, Mark Burnett, Roma Burnett, Kimbal Musk, and Fever. Jesse Collins Entertainment produces the live broadcast, directed by Sam Wrench.
In related news, earlier this year, Fox Television Stations renewed the Daytime Emmy-nominated ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ for a fourth season. At the time, Hudson said: “It is an unbelievable privilege to spend your days being able to engage with inspiring people from all walks of life; to hear their stories and connect on shared experiences; and to hopefully leave audiences a little more joyful than when they arrived.”
She added, “This show is a testament to what happens when you do what you love, and when you do it alongside an unstoppable team who creates magic in new ways every single day. I’m so excited to take this adventure to new heights in season 4!”
