*Ginuwine is the proud father of nine children and has long emphasized the importance of family while maintaining a relatively private personal life.
As PEOPLE reports, the R&B artist shares four children with his former wife, Solé, and has five other children from other relationships. Ginuwine and Solé began dating in 1999 and married in 2003 before divorcing in 2015. During their relationship, they welcomed two daughters, Story Asaundra and Dream Sarae. Ginuwine also became a father figure to Solé’s daughters from a previous relationship, De’jan and Cypress. For Halloween 2022, he shared a picture of his daughters in costumes inspired by the four Hogwarts houses from the “Harry Potter” franchise.
Ginuwine discussed co-parenting with Solé and blended family dynamics during a December 2024 episode of the “Drink Champs” podcast, where he spoke about setting positive examples for children after separation.

“As an example, as a parent, as a man, if you have kids, you want to extend that to your kids,” he said. “As grown men, we have to extend that same courtesy to our kids and say, ‘Listen, everything always isn’t going to be perfect or whatever. You might get divorced, you might go through whatever, but this is how you do after that. This is how you make it right. This is the example you set for your kids.’ That’s what I do.”
Story and Dream are the most frequently featured of Ginuwine’s children online. Story has pursued dance and performed with her father at Essence Fest in 2024. Dream has shown musical talent as well, including playing guitar at Essence Fest in 2019 and producing a song for 4batz in 2024.

De’jan and Cypress have also built careers of their own. De’jan founded Pink and Posh Events in 2021, focusing on luxury event design, while Cypress launched her herbal hair and skincare brand, Cypress Soleil Naturals, in 2018. Cypress is also the mother of a daughter, Sage, born in 2020, who joined Ginuwine onstage during a 2024 concert.
Ginuwine’s remaining five children largely stay out of the public eye, though he occasionally shares photos of daughters Santana and Ginel and his son Aye Yo El, often marking birthdays and milestones with personal messages.
