*This weekend, Chicago will host a free two-day “Ready for Business” event presented by The Hip Hop Museum and Chase. Taking place from Friday, August 23 to Saturday, August 24, the event is designed to provide financial literacy resources to underserved communities in the city.
Attendees can expect engaging panels and activities featuring prominent figures like Grammy Award-winning artist Estelle, actor Cory Hardrict, “Chicago P.D.” star LaRoyce Hawkins, celebrity Chef Fab, legendary DJ Terry Hunter, and music icon George Daniels, among others.
According to a news release, Chase debit and credit cardholders will receive special benefits and enjoy discounted tickets and other perks at the event.
Among the events featured during the two-day experience include:
- Multiple immersive workshops providing financial literacy tips and tools
- Educational panel discussions featuring local media personalities, celebrities and entrepreneurs
- A “Lunch & Learn” session featuring local businesses that benefited from Chase’s financial tools. Each business will present an overview of their growth strategy on stage in a 5-7 minute targeted, hosted interview and share how Chase’s tools helped them on their journey
