According to Joseph, the lavish new ring was essentially “giving back some of the missing money.” He framed his public comments as an act of paternal concern, stating in a Facebook Live video, “If she don’t talk to me because I’m trying to help her, that’s God, she gon have to deal with God for that.”

Fantasia Strikes Back
Fantasia, however, was having none of it. In a fiery Instagram post that has since been deleted but widely captured by fans and entertainment outlets, the singer did not hold back.
Alongside a screenshot of her father’s 2024 mugshot—related to a domestic violence arrest—Fantasia wrote a scathing caption that redefined their relationship.
“Joesph Barrino I can’t even call you Dad or a Father, you are a DONOR!!! “
The 41-year-old singer made it clear that the attack on her husband crossed an unforgivable line.
“We have covered for you long enough. My Mom and Me have made you LOOK like you were an Okay Man, but NOW YOU HAVE COME FOR MY KING!!! “
To directly counter the theft allegations, Fantasia clarified the hierarchy of their business empire, asserting that her husband’s role is both legitimate and transparent.
“How can someone steal if I, Fantasia Taylor is the CEO and My King Kendall Taylor is the President of ALL OUR COMPANIES,” she wrote.
In a final warning, she promised to escalate the situation further, adding, “Tonight I shall help you finish the war you STARTED!!!”
