*Lifetime has just dropped the official trailer for its latest music-driven drama “Fame: A Temptations Story,” set to premiere Saturday, April 26 at 8/7c. The film stars award-winning musicians and actresses Keri Hilson and Keshia Chanté as feuding sisters whose fame hides a web of secrets, suspicion, and betrayal.
Hilson, a NAACP Image and BET Award winner known for her powerhouse vocals and roles in films like “Almost Christmas,” teams up with Juno Award winner Chanté (Law & Order, 106 & Park) to play Cherish and Roxy Jordan — a glamorous singing duo tearing up the charts. But beneath their glittering image lies a rivalry that threatens to destroy everything they’ve built.
The trailer teases a high-stakes emotional thriller, kicking off with the sisters returning to their luxury penthouse only to become victims of a terrifying jewel heist. As police dig deeper, whispers swirl that the crime may have been orchestrated from the inside — and all eyes turn to Roxy.
Packed with dramatic confrontations, emotional flashbacks, and a soundtrack that echoes the highs and lows of the sisters’ journey, the film explores the dark side of stardom. Can Cherish and Roxy overcome their thirst for the spotlight — or will the pursuit of fame become their undoing?
Joining Hilson and Chanté in the ensemble cast are Romeo Miller, Ecstasia Sanders, Nathan Witte, Veronica Long, Reese Alexander, and Sophie Carriere. “Fame: A Temptations Story” promises a gripping blend of music, mystery, and family drama when it premieres April 26 on Lifetime. Watch the trailer
