*After nearly a decade away from the spotlight, Eve is officially back—and she’s joining forces with Nelly and Ja Rule for the ‘Where The Party At Tour,’ which kicked off this summer and runs through September.
“I know people are coming to hear the hits and I pretty much keep it to that but there are some newer tracks, too,” Eve said in an interview with The New York Post. “Between the choreography, themes and visuals, the actual show itself is very modern. I keep it upbeat.”
The Grammy-winning rapper and singer says the energy on stage is electric, with dancers and her DJ playing a major part in creating a true party vibe.
“Nelly, Ja Rule and I come from this era of Hip-Hop that was just incredible. There was a certain sound. There was a certain aura and that’s what makes it special,” Eve said of her co-headliners. She added that Nelly’s stage performance includes the Saint Lunatics and even a VIP section skit that plays out during the show.
Touring looks a little different these days for Eve. She’s traveling with her husband, her three-year-old son, her mother, and brother, making this trek a family affair.

“I’ve never had a three-year-old on a tour, so we’ll see how that goes,” she laughed.
Eve is giving her classic hits a new feel during the tour. Fans can expect to hear favorites like “Who’s That Girl,” “Gangsta Lovin’,” “Blow Your Mind,” and “Satisfaction.”
“What excites me about performing these songs that I’ve done for so long is being able to visually give them new life with dancing and choreography,” she said.
For those thinking about catching the tour, Eve wants you to know: “We all need some levity… Come and relive your high school years or bring your kids.”
