
*“Euphoria” fans are getting a slew of new faces for season three to go along with the Zendaya-led list of veteran castmates populating the hit HBO series.
Among those joining the “Euphoria” universe will be former “A Different World” star Kadeem Hardison, Grammy-winner singer Rosalía and NFL icon Marshawn Lynch. The achievement carries a double significance for Rosalía, who will make her acting debut on “Euphoria.” As a fan of the show, joining the show’s cast is a dream come true.
“Euphoria has been my favorite series over the last few years, and I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people,” she said.
Stepping into a different field marks a the start of a new era for Lynch, who full welcomes working alongside “the people in front and behind the camera.”
“I’m hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera,” the former Seattle Seahawk stated.

Weighing in on being a part of the third season of “Euphoria,” Hardison considers his good fortune a full-circle moment for him and Zendaya. The two previously starred on the hit Disney Channel’s hit show “K.C. Undercover.”
Hardison played the father of Zendaya’s title character, K.C. Cooper, a high school math genius turned detective, who gets recruited by her parents after she discovers that they are secretly undercover spies working for an agency called The Organization.
“It’s amazing to be back on set with Z,” Hardison admitted. “We formed a tight friendship while shooting K.C. Undercover, so this is truly special.”
Hardison, Lynch and Rosalia aren’t the only newcomers to “Euphoria.” Ice Cream Convos notes the trio will join fellow entertainers Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert and Anna Van Patten in bringing “new dynamics and unexpected twists to the series’ already intense narrative.”

With new faces come the departure of beloved “Euphoria” fixtures Nika King, who played Leslie, Rue’s mother, Austin Abrams, who played Lexi’s love interest Ethan and Algee Smith who played McKay.
Other exiting “Euphoria” castmates include Storm Reid, who confirmed in November that her character, Gia, Rue’s sister, would not be featured in upcoming episodes as well as Barbie Ferreira, who portrayed Kat. In August 2022, Ferreira announced her departure from the series back in August 2022, Ice Cream Convos mentioned.
Although cast departures will shake things up and raise questions about the direction of Season 3, Zendaya and the “Euphoria” team will continue to hold things down . All while staying in Los Angeles to film the popular series.
News of the return of “Euphoria” comes amid the continuing wildfires that sweep the LA area, a point Hardison touched on while sharing thoughts of joining the show’s case.
“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by recent events in the city,” he expressed. “Here’s to hoping more productions follow suit and come back to Los Angeles.”
