*DJ Akademiks has been banned from Twitch following a livestream where he made inappropriate remarks to a 15-year-old moderator named “Max.”
During the broadcast, Akademiks engaged the teen in a conversation that included explicit and inappropriate questions, leading to his removal from the platform. In the disturbing video, Akademiks asked the teen if would let livestreamer PlaqueBoyMax seduce him.
“[PlaqueBoyMax] said he wanted to try f*****g with you. Would you let [PlaqueBoyMax] f*** you?” DJ Akademiks asked in the video.
“No,” said the boy.
“Why not?” DJ Akademiks asked before noting that Max could have PlaqueBoyMax “inside of you.”

DJ Akademiks later asked the teen if he would have sex with an adult.
“If [PlaqueBoyMax] got a sister and she threw you the box, would you smash?” DJ Akademiks asked the kid.
“No, because I’m 15,” Max responded.
“What that mean?” DJ Akademiks asked the kid.
“She’s above 18,” the teen said in the livestream. “It [would be] grooming.”
Following the live stream, DJ Akademiks’ Twitch account was taken down. Days after the viral exchange,he addressed his ban online, Vibe reports.
“Obviously, Twitch took some action because even though I wasn’t streaming that happened on their platform, I completely get it,” Ak said Monday. “We will work with Twitch to make it right.”
During its Jan. 27 broadcast of the show, The Breakfast Club broadcasted the audio of AK’s live stream with Max.
“That was weird, to say the least,” co-host Loren LoRosa said of the exchange, while Charlamagne tha God praised the boy for shutting down DJ Akademiks’ groomer questions.
“That’s a wise little 15-year-old,” said Charlamagne.
“He was very smart,” LoRosa added.
DJ Akademiks called the incident a “teachable moment.”
“I am wrong. I will be better,” he said in a live-stream video. “Hopefully people can learn from this whole little scandal with me.”
