*A couple from New Orleans was stunned to welcome quadruplet girls, conceived naturally without the aid of fertility treatments. To their surprise, the girls are not just quadruplets, but two sets of identical twins.
“I was laughing and crying at the same time,” Farrah Larry, of Louisiana, 29, tells PEOPLE. “My husband was about to pass out.”
Farrah gave birth in November to four healthy daughters via cesarean section. The babes: Lyric, Paisley, Psalm and Fallyn, who each weighed about 4 lbs. at birth, spent several weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit. They are now all home in Slidell, La., joining their 2-year-old brother, PJ.
“It’s … quite a feat for the parents,” said Dr. Jane Chueh, a professor and director of prenatal diagnosis in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics at Stanford Children’s Health, about the couple’s super rare quadruplet daughters. “[The chances are] somewhere between one in 750,000 to one in a million.”
“Clearly God has a plan for these girls,” Farrah said.

“I’m sleeping maybe three and a half hours a night,” said Farrah. Her husband Peyton, 29, added, “I don’t sleep anymore. It’s like one long blink.”
“The toughest part is telling them apart,” he said.
“For diapers, we’re going through seven or eight a day, times four. We’re going through packs quickly,” Farrah explained. “It’s the same for bottles; they eat like eight times a day.”
While Farrah can tell her daughters apart from one another, the rest of her family has a hard time.
“My mom says ‘I’m gonna mark their toes — I’m giving each baby a color,’ ” said Farrah. “But so far we’re just winging it and getting it right for the most part.”
Farrah’s mother, Sue Dixon, set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the family’s expenses.
“They have a huge, huge village,” said Dixon. “We’re all gonna wrap our arms around them and they’re gonna be fine.”
