*Costco has subtly introduced a new summer bakery delight that’s quickly depleting stock. The Kirkland Signature Peaches and Cream Bar Cake is now popping up in warehouse stores, with initial customer feedback hinting it could emerge as a popular warm-season treat.
As PARADE reports, the cake is composed of sponge cake layers, whipped cream, and a mix of peach chunks and puree. Packaged in bar form—sliced from what appears to be a larger sheet cake—each serving is designed to feed up to 12 people.
One popular Costco-focused influencer shared a video review, praising the dessert for its flavor and texture. “If you like peaches, you’re going to love it,” they said, describing the cake as “not too sweet” and “amazing.”
Similar sentiments were echoed across social media. “Just picked it up today—so good,” one shopper wrote. Another added, “That peach gives it a little sour punch. Great combined with the whipped cream.” Others praised the dessert’s aroma and texture, with a Reddit user describing the cake as “a DREAM,” highlighting its intense peach flavor and creamy profile. “Way peachier than expected! The creaminess is good too! Even better with whipped cream and blackberries,” they shared.
Though it hasn’t yet appeared on Costco’s Same-Day online catalog, the Peaches and Cream Bar Cake is beginning to show up in warehouses nationwide. Check out the IG clip below.
