*Chaka Khan has a new single out, and Snoop Dogg rode shotgun on this one.
The two dropped “Boogie’s in My Soul” on June 19, a dance-pop record serving as the follow-up to Khan’s previously released title track. As PEOPLE reports, Snoop framed the track as something that burrows deep. “There’s nothing you can do to ever erase this,” he stated. “It’s in your system, now let it get into your soul.”
The pair also released a music video, and you can watch the visuals above.

“Chakzilla” arrives September 18 through EarthSong Records and BMG. The project includes contributions from Sia and Lenny Kravitz, with Sia and producer Greg Kurstin shaping much of the album’s sound.
“Working with Chaka was a dream of mine,” Sia noted. “She has one of the most distinct voices of our generation and also a wicked sense of humor. Oh how we laughed!” She continued, “She’s a one take wonder and I did my best to capture her vitality, spirit and depth. Chaka is one of one and Greg killed the production.”
Khan, an 11-time Grammy winner, described the album as deeply personal. “This album is about joy. It’s about freedom. It’s about loving yourself, loving each other, and finding your power no matter where you are in life,” she expressed.
“I’ve lived a lot of life since my last record, and I wanted these songs to celebrate that. This music is about being human, feelin’ good, and stepping into our power,” she added.
