*When a big tree like Sean “Diddy” Combs starts to fall, the birds that used to hang on his branches will start feeling the pinch directly or indirectly. “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Mimi Faust has started to feel her fair share of the ripple effects of Diddy’s tumble.
Faust recently alleged that BET Network canceled a dating show she had been developing for some time, thanks to Stevie J’s affiliation with Diddy. BET Network thought twice about a deal that would expose it to potential backlash when it’s associated with Stevie J, who has clarified that he will firmly stand with Diddy.
Mimi Faust made the revelation about the cancelation in a conversation with her close friend Claudia Jordan.
“I was going to have a dating show with my daughter’s father on BET Network. And they – literally, we were going on 8…9 months – almost a year of planning and preparation and picking that cast and the whole nine, said Faust. And allegedly BET canceled the show because they didn’t want the association with the situation with Puff and my daughter’s father, who is really good friends with him. So, this thing with him runs really deep. Really deep to the point where it’s messing up a lot of people’s money. Let’s hope that losing a dating show is the extent of the consequences Stevie J faces due to his ties with Diddy.”

Mimi Faust is not alone. Following the public release of details regarding Combs’ indictment on Tuesday (September 17), his “Shawty Wop,” Yung Miami (real name Caresha Brownlee) has been trending on X, formerly Twitter. She has found herself under tight scrutiny once again over her association with her “Papi.”
In a recent special episode of her podcast, she addressed the legal woes Diddy is undergoing, but her focus was on clearing her name. She denied any personal experience with the overwhelming abuse the rapper has been accused of.
Caresha made it clear she couldn’t speak on something that wasn’t her experience.
“…I can’t speak on something that I don’t know,” she stated. “I can’t speak on these allegations because I wasn’t around at the time. I don’t know that person, and that wasn’t my experience.”
At this point, it’s hard to tell if Caresha will eventually find herself in legal and/or criminal entanglement because of her past dealings with Diddy. Anything is possible.

In the court of public opinion, she has been found guilty, at least on X. The X commenters don’t seem to agree with Caresha’s claim that she knew nothing about what Diddy was up to.
Sample these:
“Sorry but Caresha can’t convince me that she knew NOTHING about this nasty ass man. There were signs sis… but all you could see was dollar signs i guess,” said Coach Dae (@_CoachDae) September 17, 2024.
“Caresha made sure to support JT last night while Diddy spot was being blown up pic.twitter.com/ckIk2a9dl4,” wrote Jules (@painNyourass) September 17, 2024.
“Yeah so it’s clear Caresha was seeing everything going down. You can’t miss sex parties with ni**as hooked up to IV bags with 1,000 bottles of baby oil and sex workers,” said Cowboy Parker? (@cuddapotato) September 17, 2024.
