*R&B superstars Brandy and Monica are joining forces for their first-ever co-headlining venture, The Boy Is Mine Tour, a nod to their iconic 1998 chart-topping duet that dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks.
The 24-city U.S. arena tour begins October 16 at Cincinnati’s Heritage Bank Center and wraps up December 7 at Houston’s Toyota Center. Fans can expect performances in major cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York, Billboard reports.
Organized by Black Promoters Collective, the tour includes supporting acts Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and “American Idol” season 23 winner Jamal Roberts. “This really is a full-circle moment,” said Brandy.
“Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music – it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come. ‘The Boy Is Mine’ was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion – it’s a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one,” she continued.
Monica shared her excitement, stating, “The love that ‘The Boy Is Mine’ continues to receive means everything to me. This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us.”
The songstress added, “Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeysClone journeys, and coming back together in this way is a reminder of the power of respect, strength, and real music. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing it with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us.”
The tour’s launch was accompanied by a dramatic short film directed by Ethan Tobman, known for his work with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. Watch the trailer above.
Tickets for the tour will be available to the public starting Friday at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.com, with presales running Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. using the code “BPC.”
