*Not even a “neurological episode” can keep Bobby V away from his Millennium Tour fans.
The “Slow Down” hitmaker recently took to social media to share how he was hospitalized after experiencing a slew of symptoms that included a “racing heart, fever, and numbness on the left side of his body.” Following treatment, doctors laid out their synopsis of the situation, telling Bobby V his symptoms may have related to a potential “neurological episode.”
“Last night I got real sick,” the R&B crooner confessed in a video recorded April 7 at the airport. Although he initially wanted to keep his situation private, Bobby V opted to publicly address what happened via a follow up statement to The Shade Room.
“To be honest I wasn’t gonna say nothing about this but I was rushed to the hospital – heart racing, fever spiked, whole left side of my body went numb. The doctors said it might’ve been a neurological episode from exhaustion and dehydration. I laid there, IV in my arm, hearing them say I shouldn’t move.”
The incident could have sidelined him or worse, but it, nor a delayed flight to Memphis, wasn’t enough to keep Bobby V from reportedly spending $20,000 on a private jet to get to the Millennium Tour stop on time to give his fans the performance they craved.

Once news of the “health scare hit the Net, it didn’t take long before fans showered social media with gratitude and concern for the former Mista member via prayers and well-wishes. According to Vibe, many of the messages praised Bobby V for his dedication, in addition to others who encouraged him to to put his health first.
“Slow downnnn.. your body is trying to warn ya!! That is stroke symptoms love. More water more rest,” one user voiced on TSR’s page, while another user advised the “Mrs. Officer” collaborator to, “Listen to your body after this show though. Get some rest.”
Bobby V’s medical ordeal comes months after the Black Promoters Collective (BPC) announced the return of the Millennium Tour last November. The nostalgic star-studded 24-city outing, which kicked off in March, features multiple performances in locales such as Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Chicago before wrapping up in April in Los Angeles.
Bow Wow, Omarion, and Trey Songz are on board as headliners, with Bobby V, Plies, Boosie, Ying Yang Twins, RSVP (Ray J, Sammie, Bobby V, Pleasure P), Nivea, and special guest Rick Ross supporting.
