He testified that Dr. Leroy Amar, a gynecologist and personal acquaintance, wrote the prescription during a card game at the Cosby’s Los Angeles home sometime before 1972. Per TMZ, legal filings characterize Dr. Amar as a “disgraced” physician, and his license was revoked in California in 1979.
