The Latest Jay-Z and Beyoncé Drama Nobody Asked For
*In a plot twist no one saw coming (and no one really needed), South African musician Bhungane Hadebe has set the internet on fire with bizarre claims that Jay-Z – and yes, Beyoncé too – are apparently deep into witchcraft and soul-swapping.
We know. Take a breath.
It all started when Hadebe hopped onto the ‘Gram and dropped a post so wild it made its way straight to X (formerly Twitter). Pretty soon, people everywhere were scratching their heads and asking: “Wait… what did I just read?”
The Witchcraft Claims
Let’s back up. Hadebe, who’s actually listed on Jay-Z’s Tidal music streaming site (awkward), claims his troubles began back in 2018 during the Global Citizen concert, South African news outlet Briefly is reporting.
In his post, Hadebe said he was forced to “sell [his] soul” to Jay-Z and Beyoncé. According to him, it wasn’t just a figure of speech. No, no. He detailed something called “exchanging of destinies.” He even linked this alleged ritual to the tragic death of Siyabonga Ngodze, who fell while working as a rigger at the same 2018 concert. According to Hadebe, this death wasn’t just an accident—it was part of the dark magic show.

A Scholarship… Or A Setup?
And the saga didn’t stop there. Hadebe wrote that on June 24, 2022, Roc Nation (Jay-Z’s label) offered him a scholarship to Long Island University.
Sounds nice, right? Well, Hadebe says he turned it down because, you guessed it, he thought there was “hidden malicious intent.”
He went on to say Jay-Z’s been chasing after him to “use his DNA as a sacrifice.” Oh, and don’t worry—he claims there are people who can back up all these claims.
Right. Totally normal stuff.

Social Media Has Thoughts—Lots of Them
Naturally, X users couldn’t keep quiet. Some comments were genuinely concerned. Others? Let’s just say the sarcasm was chef’s kiss.
@ineedmadibas said:
“I need to hear from these people he claims can confirm this statement of his because WHAT??✋??”
@TSelekane44539 chimed in:
“So a billion dollar couple is obsessed with him? He has the soul of a mega star? Come on, man.”
@Chosen1_26 added:
“You have Jay-Z’s soul. So Jay-Z’s refused its own offer to go back to new York. Make this make sense please. I’m now more confused.”
And @ThatoNtshingil2 pretty much said what we were all thinking:
“This sounds like a made-up story ?”

Is This a Trend Now?
Interestingly, Hadebe’s story isn’t the only time South Africans have linked Jay-Z to Illuminati whispers. Recently, Oscar Mbo visited Roc Nation’s offices in New York, which sent conspiracy theorists into overdrive.
Oscar, who just scored a platinum hit with his single “Yes God,” seemed to be making all the right moves for his career. But of course, because on the ‘net, his Roc Nation visit sparked the same old Illuminati chatter.
So… What’s Going On?
Let’s be real. These kinds of claims—Illuminati, soul-selling, ritual sacrifices—have circled Jay-Z and Beyoncé for years. But Hadebe’s latest story takes things to a whole new level of bizarre.
We’re talking about a guy who’s part of Jay-Z’s own streaming platform, claiming Jay-Z stole his soul and is chasing his DNA. It’s so wild, you almost want to grab popcorn. Almost.
A New Twist: The Arrest
Now, here’s where things get extra spicy. After Hadebe’s claims blew up online, local authorities stepped in—and yes, there was an arrest. But get this: when officers finally caught up with Hadebe, their interaction with him was… let’s say, surprisingly chill.

Witnesses reported that police, instead of treating Hadebe like someone shouting about soul-stealing billionaires, were oddly relaxed. One officer was even seen joking with him. Another? Well, let’s just say there were flirty vibes flying around.
We’re not sure if Hadebe felt like he was in a bad dream or a rom-com at that point.
Where Do We Go From Here?
At this stage, Hadebe’s story is still doing laps around the internet, and people are left wondering: Is this a cry for help? A PR stunt? Or just another weird day in the life of celebrity news?
Whatever the case, one thing’s certain: Jay-Z and Beyoncé probably aren’t losing sleep over it.
But the rest of us? Oh, we’ll be watching—because, honestly, it’s too strange to look away.
