
*Beyoncé hit up Instagram to unbox her new perfume, Cé Noir, which is expected to drop before Christmas.
“I’m super excited. This is my Cé Noir unboxing, and it’s finally here after years of work. I wanted something to be monolithic,” she explains in the video about the fragrance’s design. “And I wanted something with a little bit of intimacy. So right here, you can see inside the soul of the perfume.”
In the video posted Wednesday, Beyoncé added of her perfume, “I actually spray this during the show a few times. Gotta keep it fresh. … And this is CÉ NOIR, say no more.”
As Complex reports, Cé Noir was created in France and loosely translates to “this black.” It’s Beyoncé’s second signature fragrance following her perfume Heat which was released in 2011.
Cé Noir is available for pre-order on Beyoncé’s website for $160 per bottle.

The new fragrance announcement comes five months after Beyoncé took to Instagram in May to tease details about her forthcoming haircare line.
The post included a carousel of images featuring a throwback photo of young Bey at a hair salon. She also shared a handwritten note explaining the inspiration behind her latest business venture.
“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done,” Beyoncé wrote.
“I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls,” she continued.
“I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” the superstar added.
She concluded with, “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
Meanwhile, Bey’s global Renaissance World Tour wrapped this month in Kansas City. The accompanying concert film, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé,” will hit theaters in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico on Dec. 1.
